MAITREYA MUD HOUSE TABO IS OPEN IN WINTER 2023/24

Our two Hotels- MAITREYA REGENCY TABO N SIDHARTH are closed for Winter break from FIRST NOVEMBER 2023 TO 31ST MARCH 2024 due to freezing of water in pipes.
However, our newly constructed DELUXE ABODE– MAITREYA MUD HOUSE TABO will be OPEN IN WINTER as well as SUMMER – ALL THE TWELVE MONTHS !!
The walls are of MUD, though the structure is RCC. Most of the local houses in Spiti Valley are built with just MUD, which keeps warm in winter n cool in summer.

SPITI SEASON 2018

JULLEY! NAMASKAR!

         The Tabo- Spiti tourist season will take off by late April /early May and hotels in Tabo & elsewhere in Spiti will be ready to host n dine. Snowing has ceased in the lower hills and roads are getting cleared & cleaned.
          Early visitors to Tabo-Spiti will have a rare chance to view varied shades of the Himalayas still snow capped as well as sea of white bloom of the Apple crop.
        The road from Shimla via Rampur-RecongPeo to Spiti valley is already open and will stay so more or less through out the season except for short interruptions now then due to landslides. Two State transport buses ply from Peo to Kaza via Tabo departing at 0700 hrs n 0900 hrs. Shared taxis too run from Rampur n Peo to the valley.
       The other entry to Spiti from Manali will open only around mid June and stay open till mid October.
       Welcome to Spiti, the land of the Lamas, an unforgettable valley that will mesmerize you at every turn of the head.
      Though the tourism in Tabo-Spiti is yet nascent, the standards of accommodation are gradually getting upgraded and humbly yet proudly accept our clients’ review that our hotel in Tabo has contributed to achieving this to a great extent !!

It is 40 days that we opened for our esteemed clients and has been hectic. Foot fall to Spiti has been more than last year and we have had more ‘running customers’ than ‘booking customers’. Customers pop in,inspect n over 90% prefered to stay with us.

We are the only luxury hotel in Tabo with Buddhist embellishment and has been greatly appreciated by our guests. We have been compelled to add more staff to maintain our standard of service.
